1. Fall TV Shows are BACK!!! Ok so I'm kind of a TV dork... no I'm really a TV dork and I am so glad some of my favorite TV series are back! And I'm thankful for DVR because there is no way I could actually watch all of these shows while they're actually on!
So here are a few of the shows I'm happy to see back:
- Raising Hope! So hysterical if you haven't watched this yet you have no idea what you're missing. Love it!
- Grey's Anatomy... enough said I think everyone at least secretly loves this show (but I'm kinda sick of the whole moody, cranky, un-supportive Derek thing... hopefully they wrap that up soon!)
- Glee! Love my Glee, does this make me a closet dork? Yes! Do I care? Nope!
- The Big Bang Theory! LOVE! And yes I'm aware that this confirms my inner dork.
- Parks & Recreation & The Office, because really they are like the same thing and I love them equally!
- Up All Night ... Who doesn't love Christina Applegate? And if we are thinking of having kids anytime in the near future I'm sure a sitcom can give us an accurate representation of what we would be up against...No?
- Hart of Dixie... Ok yes total cheese-ball CW show but it seems really cute and sweet... who couldn't use a little more cute and sweet?
- New Girl... Looks hysterical and I love Zooey Deschanel!
- Whitney... Another show that just looks funny... and I feel like she kind of makes me look normal so that's a plus!
2. Pinterest !!! Yes I drank the cool-aid and I love me some Pinterest! It's become somewhat of an obsession and I think I pin everything now! But it really is full of helpful stuff like....
- Home improvement ideas...
- Cute outfit inspiration....
- Hair how-to's...
- Yummy recipes....
- And of course my fav: funny, witty, sweet, inspirational QUOTES!!!
3. Fantasy Football! Ok so believe it or not I'm kind of a fan of fantasy football! I know shocking right? But it gives me a reason to be interested in all these football games my husband loves so much! And I'm kind of good at it! Well not the weekly maintenance, Adam totally does that for me, BUT somehow I'm kind of good at picking great teams! Not like I do a lot of research or anything but my method of picking a mix of hot guys with a few tough looking bad asses (who don't kill puppies or abuse their wives) seems to be working for me! So hey that's a good thing! I even have the app on my phone so I can keep track of how I'm doing! Pretty hardcore right?! I know you're impressed.
Disses:
1. WIND!!!! Along with the lovely crisp fall air usually comes the wind. And after one day of awful wind I am already over it! Hate it hate it hate it! Thankfully just like all other weather conditions in this beautiful state it wont last long!
2. Growing out my bangs.... I know it sounds silly but growing out my bangs is not easy! They are driving me insane! I've been trying to find new cute ways to style them but this lovely wind isn't helping!
3. Book Series that last way too long! Ok so I LOVE books! I LOVE reading! And I really do LOVE book series because they keep a great story going... but I am kind of over these authors making their books last forever! Take the Sookie Stackhouse books. I love them, I do, but they are kind of dragging on way too long and having to wait a year between each book is getting a little frustrating. The last thing I'm going to want to do when I'm old and grey is read about Sookie's sex life and vampires, but I feel like at the rate this series is going that's exactly what I'll have to do if I want to know how it ends. Give us a few well written, engaging books, then give us some closure and move on to something new.
