Memorial Day Weekend and off to Saint Louis!

Wow this three day weekend went way too fast! But thankfully Adam and I jam packed it with lots of exciting things! Our house is now spotless, we have a beautiful new bathroom and our master bathroom is well on the way to a complete overhaul!
Needless to say Adam stayed quite busy! But we left a little time for fun as well: Rockies game Friday night, dinner and a tour of our best friends new house on Saturday night and we ended the weekend with a drive to Evergreen and then some fishing with the dogs at Chatfield! Sadly on the way up we had a little run in with the cops and Adam ended up with a ticket for failing to stop completely at a Stop sign… OOPS! But all in all the weekend was exactly what we needed! We took a few pictures of our adventures and I will post those as soon as I get a chance.
On another note, tomorrow I am off to Saint Louis for a three day work training conference and to be honest I am soooooo not looking forward to it! I know it’ll be nice to have a little “me time” but I’m not real big on traveling by myself. I know I know I’m a grown woman and I should be fine with this, but I’m not! I have a growing list of concerns:

• This will be my first experience with carrying on all my luggage and being the inexperienced traveler that I am I’m terrified that somehow my suitcase will be too big, or that my hairspray, toothpaste, or moisturizer will not be allowed on the flight with me and that somehow I’ll miss my flight!
• Then once I get there I’m scared I might not make the  conference in time (my flight lands at 11:36 and I’m suppose to be at the conference between noon & 1:00, talk about making it in the nick of time.)
• And lastly the conference isn’t suppose to be over until 12:15 on Friday and my flight leaves at 2:10, so again I’ll be in a rush to make my flight in time or god forbid I get stuck in Saint Louis! Someone please remind me to book my own flights next time! I’m thankful that I am spending the least amount of time there possible but having a little time in between would have been nice.
• Oh and let’s not forget that Missouri has been hit with countless tornadoes in the last few weeks! Lets just hope mother nature takes a break for a while and treats me to a nice calm couple of days!

I’m really just hoping that the next three days fly by with little to no problems! And maybe by the end of all this I wont be so nervous traveling by myself!
