Ok so I'm afraid I have abandoned my blog lately... but with good reason. I was sick... and then I was busy... and then we were car shopping! So life got crazy and once again I am behind on blogging! BUT I'm back and I have lots of great news!
First I am an auntie again!!!! Adam's brother and sister-in-law had their second adorable baby girl last night!
Clara Dianne was born at 11:49pm. She was 8 lbs 11 oz, 21.5 inches! And she is sooo adorable! Adam and I are going to see her tonight for the first time so I'm sure I will have plenty of pictures to share, but for now here is the first picture we received via text last night.
This is Rhonda (doesn't she look amazing! She just had a baby and it's the middle of the night... and she's still gorgeous...) And the beautiful little miss Clara!

In other news.... we got a new SUV last night! (What can I say it was a big night in the Alexander family!) We've been looking for a really long time. We've looked at a ton of cars online and knew exactly what we wanted, it was just a matter of finding it for a price we could afford. We finally found the car a few weeks ago in Colorado Springs, it was PERFECT... but sadly it was too expensive. So without a lot of hope we had my dad contact the dealership that was selling it (my dad has a relationship with one of the salesmen there and he is an expert car negotiator!) They were willing to make a deal but it was still too expensive. Fast forward a few weeks... countless phone calls with Reginald (the car salesman) and lots of negotiating back and forth, we receive a call from my dad and they have finally agreed on the price we wanted! The price we could afford! After taking a look at the financing, talking to our insurance agent, and estimating what we would pay in gas... we finally came to the realization that this could actually work! One little problem... we had never actually driven the car... So we got off work a little early, "flew" down to Colorado Springs and test drove the car. It was LOVE at first site! We loved how the car drove, we loved the color, we loved all the features, we loved, loved, loved it!!!! So after a long wait at the dealership and a few signatures we owned our very own GMC Acadia! I squealed, I jumped and I think I said "It's SO PRETTY" about a hundred times! So anyway... here it is... our "perfect" car!!!
