Saying Goodbye to Summer

I am soooo looking forward to this nice three day weekend, but it’s a little bit of a bummer too. Why? Because Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer. :( I’ve had an awesome summer and I’m just not quite ready to part with it! Driving to work this morning it was a bit foggy and gloomy. I just don’t think I’m ready for gloomy days, extremely cold nights and eventually… snow… ugh snow. Not just yet, I just need a few more weeks of sunshine and warm nights…. Please? No?

Anyway to celebrate the end of summer I thought I would take a look at the many many things that the husband and I did this summer!

Went to Rockies Opening Day!!

Went to Saint Louis for my first official work trip! Met a new friend and went to the top of the famous Arch!

Partied with YCP & Della on the rooftop at Lodo’s to raise money for The Women’s Crisis Center.

Celebrated the wedding of two wonderful people, Congrats Rachel & Phil!

Bought a canoe and strapped it on top of our truck.

More Rockies games...

Celebrated 4th of July at a Rockies Game....

and in Brush!

Field Day with great friends at Washpark.

Toured the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and went to The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Celebrated our 2 Year Wedding Anniversary with a Staycation in Downtown Denver.

Camped at Meadow Creek Reservoir

Went Hiking in Roxborough Park

And a whole lot of other amazingness. What was your favorite part of this summer?
