Quotes and Books!

Two of my all time favorite things are books and of course great quotes! And so many great quotes come from great literature (and Disney of course.) Ever since Adam got me my Nook for Christmas my love of reading has gotten a bit out of control (I think I've read somewhere around 40 books since then!) But books can be such a great escape, and to be honest I don't think Adam minds too much! He's gotten to watch a lot more sports without me complaining to change the channel. Anyway I just thought I would share some of my favorite books/series I've been reading lately in case someone is looking for a great read! And just a note these aren't really in any order.

  • Something Borrowed & it's sequel Something Blue by Emily Giffin (really cute easy reads)
  • Anything by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Safe Haven, Dear John...)
  • Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (LOVED it! Dont let the movie scare you away the book is much better.)
  • The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris (Loved this series at first but it's getting a little long, and yes it's about Vampires)
  • Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (Amazing Christian book. Really loved it.)
  • The Girl w/ The Dragon Tattoo Books (Millennium Trilogy) by Steig Larson (A little hard to get started and each book is pretty long but a good read.)
  • Fallen Series by Lauren Kate
  • House of Night Series by PC & Kristin Cast (great series, but fair warning it's about Vampires!)
  • Fever Series by Karen Moning (not sure why but, I really really loved these books!)
  • The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins (LOVED the first two books, so good, but the third I wasnt thrilled with...)
  • Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly (good book, nice change to read a single book instead of all these series!)
  • Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead (yes more vampires but a fun read)
  • Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer (Ok I read this forever ago but they really are great books and yes these started my kick on vampire books!)
  • Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (Of course!!!! And if you really haven't read them yet don't let the whole teenage wizard thing scare you away. They are some of the best books I've ever read.)
Ok I suppose that's enough for now!  And for a little eyecandy here are a few quotes from some of my all time favorite books!
