Working in the World of Finance....

Most days I really do love my job, but there are some days where working in the world of finance can be incredibly difficult... yesterday was just one of those days. When the market drops 512 points I think it shakes everyone's cage a bit. Our clients are amazing and thankfully no one called completely panicked but watching those numbers drop can definitely be nerve racking. I have great bosses that do their absolute best to protect our clients from bad days. And they are pretty successful at it. My fear on days like these doesn't come from worrying about "our clients" my fear is more for worrying about others. I truly wish we could protect everyone from down markets, but thankfully the market comes back around, things stabilize, things grow, and unfortunetly one day the market will once again drop. I guess it's just the nature of the business. Anyway on days like yesterday I find my sanity in a cup of coffee, a few great quotes and a drink or two with great people after work. Here are just a few quotes that kept a smile on my face through the madness yesterday.
